Flexible Drive Shafts can be retrofitted to existing equipment and machinery or used to replace and overcome troublesome gears, chains and pulley maintenance issues. Since flexible shafts are enclosed in an outer casing to protect the inner core it is much safer to operate in open applications than exposed gears, cables, belts or pulleys. This retrofit application, once installed, requires minimal maintenance as it is self-lubricating and sealed from dust, contaminants and the elements.
