From a Distance
The Valveflex remote operating system can operate valves from up to 24m away. The technology allows operators to control valves from a safe distance eliminating the need for direct contact with valves, which may be located in hazardous or hard to reach areas.
Reaching Confined Spaces
The Valveflex remote operating system is ideal for use where exposure to extreme heat, radiation, or toxic emissions are a concern. By using a remote operating system, operating system, operators can avoid the risks associated with confined spaces, such as poor ventilated and presence of combustible gases.
Through Walls and Floor
The flexibility of the Valveflex remote operating system allows installations to be completed whilst passing through obstacles such as walls and floors. This may be necessary due to limited space availability or for reasons of safety.
Under water
The Valveflex remote operating systemcan control valves located under water; reducing therequirement for expensive actuators and their higher maintenance costs.
Using the valve torque and the routed length, read off the best handwheel size for the installation from the graph.
Using the valve type, select the appropriate valve coupling.
For example, A Gate Valve with an opening torque of 40Nm and a routed length to the operating position of 6 metres will require a 400mm handwheel.
